Private Charter Cavalli Islands

From NZD $2,875.00
  • Duration: 6 Hours (approx.)
  • Location: Paihia, Northland, NZ
  • Product code: PRVCAV

For our private charters start times are flexible, we recommend starting from Matauri Bay at 9:00am, or picking you up from Kauri Cliffs beach (or other beaches in the area) at 10:00am.

We gear you up and then board our 7.5m 250hp powered inflatable. From Matauri Bay it is a 10min ride to the Wreck of the Rainbow Warrior. The Warrior lies on a sandy seabed at 26m deep. She has been down for more than 30 years and has an incredible amount of fish life and encrusting life. She provides both wide angle and macro options for the photographers.

Or we can head to one of the multitudes of reef sites in the area for a dive or a snorkel. The day is yours to customize! After the morning dive/snorkel we normally head to a beach for a lunch stop of about 1 hour. You can relax on the beach or walk up the hill to take in the stunning panoramic ocean views.

After lunch we then head to another reef site for a dive or snorkel. Or you can cruise the islands taking in the scenery as we head back to shore.

This charter includes Skipper, Instructor/guide and gear for 4 divers. Please add gear hire for extra divers.

For more than 4 divers we recommend adding an extra guide to keep the groups underwater to no more than 4 divers.

This day trip is fully customizable, so please contact Paihia Dive to discuss options. If you require lunch please talk to Paihia Dive about our standard or gormet lunch options.
